Mindfulness means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment – with openness and curiosity. It has a variety of research-backed impacts, including a reduction in stress, and improvements in emotional regulation, and focus. Join us for mindful activities, mindful movement, read-alouds – and let’s have fun exploring mindfulness together. This offering is designed with K-5 students in mind – AND please know that students and adults of all ages are welcome to participate. We are aware that many families are away from school and work, and we hope this is a resource that families can enjoy together!
