Mindfulness For Kids
Mindfulness means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment – with openness and curiosity. It has a variety of research-backed impacts, including reduction in stress, and improvements in emotional regulation, and focus.
Join us for mindful activities, mindful movement, read-alouds – and let’s have fun exploring mindfulness together. This offering is designed with K-5 students in mind – AND please know that students and adults of all ages are welcome to participate. We are aware that many families are away from school and work, and we hope this is a resource that families can enjoy together.
Michael Pottern, founder of Find My Zen, found his purpose in eliciting curiosity in others. His platform, Find My Zen, leverages technology and discovery to help people explore virtual and in-person experiences. A dedicated Transcendental Meditation practice became the catalyst for Michael’s mission to support wellness teachers and practitioners in sharing their services and tools in our evolving new paradigm of virtual connection.
